Description: A relatively heavy helicopter, the S-61 had a large fuel capacity which gave it a high endurance for antisubmarine warfare or long range rescue missions. It made the first nonstop trans-Atlantic helicopter flight as well as set a number of speed records. It also features a folding tailboom to facilitate stowage.
