Description: The S-51 was the first commercial helicopter designed by Sikorsky. Using five S-51s which have a four seat cabin, Los Angeles Airways initiated the world's first scheduled helicopter passenger service in 1947. The S-51 was also used for medical evacuation during the Korean War.
