This version of the OH-6 was known as the MH-6J personnel / assault transport, has been modified to externally transport up to six combat troops and their equipment. It was capable of conducting overt and covert infiltrations, exfiltrations, and combat assaults over a wide variety of terrain and environmental conditions. It was used by the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) to conduct specialized aviation operations with other special operations forces.
