Description: The TH-55A Osage originally was used to train U.S. Army helicopter pilots. In 1998, this helicopter was acquired by the American Helicopter Museum to promote the museum and its programs. Its rotor blades and tail boom were shortened by museum volunteers to facilitate handling and transportation.
