Description:
After Bell's design lost the military competition for a Light Observation Helicopter, they modified the design to make it attractive for commercial use and developed the Bell 206 JetRanger. It became one of the most popular civilian helicopters. Over 7000 Model 206 derivatives have been built. The exhibited aircraft is one of the first prototype Bell JetRangers built in 1966.
